From my terrace I have a direct view of the television tower and the radio tower in Stuttgart. Over the years, I have taken 1000 photos of these motifs – by day and night and in all seasons. These photos show the beauty of the towers and the surrounding nature in the forest in the foreground. With my professional DSLR camera on a tripod and my many years of experience as a photographer, the shots are perfectly balanced. It was difficult to choose the 12 best photos out of the 1000, but I am very happy with the final selection for the calendar „towers in clouds“ in DIN A2 landscape format.

Built in 1956, the Stuttgart television tower was the first of its kind in the world. At a height of 216 metres, it offers a breathtaking view of Stuttgart and the surrounding area. The tower is not only a landmark of the city, but also a masterpiece of engineering and a symbol of progress.

I have been running the Logopilot design studio since 1990, where I have gained extensive experience in the fields of photography, reproduction and printing processes. In 2014, together with Peter Steinheisser, we started to self-publish annual calendars in DIN A2 format. Each issue is dedicated to a region of our world and features great photos created in collaboration with our printing experts at Datadruck. These calendars are known for their high print quality and finishing techniques.

Our calendar „Golden Opaque“ with motifs from Bali was nominated for the prestigious Gregor Calendar Award in 2014, and in 2018 and 2019 we received the award for the best calendar in the self-publishing category.

Thanks to our decades of contact with the printing and reproduction industry in the Stuttgart region, we can ensure that the „Towers in clouds“ calendar is reproduced and printed in the highest quality. The project is 100% made in Germany.
